The first one is of a White Marsh Marigold. I was at Lake Creek by Wolf Creek Pass checking waterfalls. I was having a hard time finding a good location to paint the falls on Lake Creek, so I took a break from my search and painted the marigold. Hardly any wildflowers were growing, but there were a lot of these marigolds. I started it in February. Beats me when I'll get it finished, maybe in 2024. I guess I am still not real fast with bigger paintings. Anyway, my daughter and I visited the site of Dancing Aspen in early October to study the surroundings. I decided to do a quick watercolor of a photo I took while we were there. This is it - a 10" x 7" painting. I finished the 30"x40" oil painting in April of 2025. This is "Thanks for the Drink",  a 14" X 11" watercolor painting. This is "Richardson Amphitheater" (above) is a set of four miniature oil paintings (3½" X 2½"). Both are from a desert trip taken to Onion Creek, Utah in October of 2019. It rained one day - hard. In fact, Onion Creek washed a foot deep rut across the access road.
